**Quick announcements, 9/4:  we've got folks busy in CAD, programming, building robots!  When?  We frequently meet Wednesdays, but you can stop in just about any day!

Also, sign up in our forums (ngneering.org/forum) to receive emailed announcements, and participate in the forums.

First of all, "engineering", for our group, is defined as "making stuff".  That could be software engineering (like programming games), hardware engineering (like making lamps, robots, super-soaker guns), and even process engineering (finding better ways to live, work, and more). 

Most likely you are in one of two groups:

1. The word "engineering" pumps you up, you love this stuff.
2. You get intimidated and quiet when you see "engineering", but have an interest.

This group is for everyone, with a special focus and concern for the beginner.
